My baking is inspired by childhood memories and my travels with friends and family. From a very young age, I was always interested in sweets. If my family traveled anywhere, I would search for all the dessert shops around the area and beg my parents to go. Sometimes these shops would be hours out of the way, but I had to go and try the beautiful edible pieces of art I saw on my computer screen. Occasionally, these dessert trips would take longer because we had to travel through a heavily trafficked city, but it was always worth it to me. I would buy one of each baked good and take in every single one's look and taste. I would leave the shop dreaming that one day I could bake just like that. After traveling, I would come home and bake with the new ideas I had spinning around in my head.
